Actor,
Director of Photography,
Writer,

Boston native Brian Spillane has been captivating audiences since, well, forever (just ask his siblings who never stood a chance in the spotlight). For over 30 years, he has channeled his passion for writing, directing and performing into a diverse and rewarding creative journey. After a stint in chemical engineering—with comedy calling louder than chemistry—Brian found himself at the ACME Comedy Theatre in Los Angeles where he honed his improv and sketch comedy chops.

Also an award-winning filmmaker. Brian’s debut feature, the sports documentary Driven to Race, wowed film festivals, earning accolades for Best Documentary and Best Cinematography before gaining worldwide distribution. Teaming up with fellow Above Board cast member Leif Gantvoort, Brian co-directed and produced A Pretty Good Movie, which turned out to be better than “pretty good” snagging Best Feature Film at the Pasadena International Film Festival and beyond.

When he’s not creating content for Above Board TV, Brian claims to be an avid golfer. However, with a handicap so high it practically doubles as a phone number, one might question his grasp of the word “avid”.
